De brandweer opende de motorkap waarna de oorzaak al snel gevonden. \u00c9\u00e9n van de auto onderdelen was te warm geworden en begon te smelten. Dit veroorzaakte behoorlijke rookontwikkeling rondom de auto. De brandweer heeft het onderdeel weg gehaald. De automobilist word geholpen door de ANWB.
