Behalve 2 ambulance&#8217;s een motorambulance en meerdere politie-eenheden kwam de traumahelikopter ter plaatse. Terwijl de politie de helikopter bewaakte ging de arts en verpleegkundige naar het incident. 1 ambulance ging onder begeleiding van de arts, met spoed naar het UMCG. Nadat de arts klaar was in het ziekenhuis werd hij door een ambulance naar de helikopter gebracht waarna de heli weer richting Eelde Airpot
